Leo De Budt of kortweg Buth (1919 – 2010)) is bij de wielerliefhebbers vooral bekend door zijn stripfiguur Thomas Pips. Deze stripreeks verscheen in de Gentse krant Het Volk van 1946 tot 1982. Dit in de krant zelf maar ook in de andere uitgaven zoals ‘t Zondagsblad, de jeugdbijlage ‘t Kapoentje en in de speciale Toureditie.
